The "Heretic" Jesus

A Slave Of Love, For Everyone

Dec 10, 2009

LIKE JESUS, SLAVE OF LOVE

I AM
not a Christian
not a Jew
not a Muslim
not belonging to anything
only to What some call God

There is no problem with we humans
taking a suit to wear
that's okay
just don't think
what you wear is
who you really are

Join Jesus
live nowhere
be no one
dance in the
Ocean of pure
Bliss

The only
path worth
your effort and time
is a path that
like Jesus was
makes you the slave of
Love, for everyone

All else
from it run away
for your life
and don't look
back like Lot's wife

Those who
read this with their minds
will not begin to understand what I say
they'll think I am denying my faith
but no, this is the truest way
to affirm it - to
truely be Christian

Why play
in the courtyard
when Jesus invites
me into the Most Holy Pace
where identities merge
and live in One

Wisdom Story

"Prisoner at the bar", said the Grand Inquisitor, "you have been charged with encouraging people to break with the laws, traditions and customs of our holy religion. How do you plead?"

"Guilty, Your Honour"

"And with frequenting the company of heretics, prostitutes, public sinners, the extortionist tax-collectors, the colonial conquerors of our nation - in short, the ex-communicated. How do you plead?"

"Guilty, Your Honour"

"Finally, you are charged with revising, correcting, calling into question the sacred tenets of our faith. How do you plead?"

"Guilty, Your Honour"

"What is your name, prisoner?"

"Jesus Christ, Your Honour"

Some people are just as alarmed to see their religion practiced as they are to hear it doubted.

*Story and comment by Anthony de Mello.

Scripture

I tell you, unless you are more right with God than the teachers of the Law and the proud religious law-keepers, you will never get into the holy nation of heaven.

*Matthew 5.20 (NLV)
